In his autobiography which will be released on Thursday, Sachin Tendulkar wrote Greg Chappell who served as India Coach between 2005 to 2007 wanted him to replace existing captain Rahul Dravid prior to ICC World Cup 2007.
However, Greg Chappell condemned these remarks and said he never contemplated Sachin replacing Dravid as captain. He also claimed to have surprised to hear something like that from Sachin.

He also added Chappel tried to impose his ideas on the players without bothering about whether they are comfortable or not.
