Trump Makes H-1B Visa Approval Tougher

Update: 2018-02-23 12:53 GMT
Trump Administration introduced a new policy which is certainly going to make H-1B visa approvals tougher than what it used to be until now. Indian Techies and IT Firms will be most affected by the new policy.

As per new policy proposed by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on February 22nd this year, More scrutiny will be done in the process of issuing H-1B visas. From now, H-1B Visas will be granted only if the Employer is able to establish that the Applicant is filling a particular speciality role. Until now, Officers issuing H-1B visas needn't have to review the third-party contracts or exact date/place of third-party work. But, This is gonna change now with the New Visa Policy.

Just over a month before H-1B filing for fiscal 2019 opens on April 2nd, Trump Administration introduced this new policy to encourage the Companies hire Americans rather than relying more on skilled people from other nations. Employers have to furnish the evidence of actual work assignments which include technical documents, cost-benefit & marketing analysis to obtain H-1B visa for the Employee.
