I Should Have Been In Chanchalguda Jail!

10 Committees formed by Congress High Command ahead of the Early Polls in Telangana brought new headache for the national party. Senior Leaders such as V Hanumantha Rao and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy have made sensational comments.

V Hanumantha Rao commented he should have been sent to Chanchalguda Jail instead of denying place in the Campaign Committee. 'I had even kept my campaign vehicle ready. I brought the party into power in 1989 Polls as Campaign Committee Chairman. There are Coverts in Congress Party and they had secret deals with KCR. They fear I might defeat KTR if I was given a good position,' said VH who was appointed as Congress Strategy and Planning Committee Chairman.

Komatireddy, on the other hand, taught High Command how to run the party: 'Taking decisions by sitting in Gandhi Bhavan is of no use. Party need to take the range of Leader at the ground level into consideration. Those who can't even win as Ward Member are given prominence in the Committees. T-Congress Incharge Khuntiya has become the biggest threat for the party. Congress won't win if tickets are offered to lobbyists. Does Congress want the services of Komatireddy Brothers or not? We have stayed loyal to the party despite facing insults. While we do the hardwork, Priority has been given to brokers'.

Rahul Gandhi appointed Revanth Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar as T-PCC Working Presidents ahead of Early Polls. The elevation of Revanth hasn't gone down well with many of the Senior Leaders in the party.
