Has early polls bug bitten YS Jagan Mohan Reddy?

Update: 2022-04-29 05:49 GMT
Usually, the opposition parties take the lead in going to the people and in launching the poll campaign. But, in AP, the ruling party is miles ahead of the Opposition in preparing for the 2024 elections.  Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken the lead in preparing the party for 2024 elections.

He has already indicated that the ministers and MLAs should from now on spend more time in their respective constituencies and reach out to the voters. He asked them not to confine themselves to the headquarters. He reportedly told the party MLAs to go from house-to-house and meet the voters on a regular basis.

Jagan reportedly told the MLAs and Ministers that he had 65 per cent approval ratings, while most MLAs and ministers have less than 45 per cent approval ratings. He told them that they have to work hard to improve their approval ratings.  He told them that the party should work to win all the 175 seats.

Meanwhile, political analysts feel that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is seriously contemplating going in for advance polls. They feels that before the dire financial position, lack of employment, poor financial situation and power woes turned the people against the government, it would go for early polls and win the mandate again. Though several YSRCP leaders are denying this, the analysts feel that Jagan is seriously planning to go for early polls.
