Has Congress Party's estranged MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy taken the final decision to leave the party and join the BJP? Highly placed sources say 'yes'. They also reveal that Komatireddy possibly decided on the date for joining the BJP in Telangana.
Sources say this explains why Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has begun attacking Revanth Reddy. He has recently said that giving key posts to those who came from the TDP would land the Congress Party nowhere. This barb is directed at Revanth Reddy as he was formerly the TDP working president.
Interestingly, till now only Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was expressing his ire at the High Command choosing Revanth Reddy. He had even alleged that the powers-that-be had taken bribes and made Revanth Reddy the TPCC chief.
His brother Rajagopal Reddy, who kept a low profile all these days, has opened after the devastating decimation of the Congress Party in the just-held elections to the five states. He said if the same trend continues, then senior leaders would leave the party.
Ever since he was elected the MLA from Munugode, Rajagopal Reddy has been ambivalent and spoke in favour of the BJP several times. He never even tried to refute the allegations that he was planning to join the BJP. But now, it is reliably learnt that he has also fixed the time and date to join the BJP.
