The Hyderabad people are going through a hard time that they are haunted by the fear of rain. People are witnessing heavy rain for last one week and several areas are flooded and vehicles are unable to move due to flooded roads.
Heavy rains lashed many parts of Hyderabad on Monday afternoon. Charminar, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, ECIL, Tarnaka, Neredmet, Moosapeta, Kukatpally, JNTU, Erragadda, SR Nagar, Panjagutta, Irram Manzil, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills have recorded rain.
Minister KTR, on the other hand, conducted a review on flood relief measures at the GHMC office. The meeting was attended by Mayor Bontu Rammohan and other officials.
The meteorological department has forecast low pressure in the eastern central Bay of Bengal. That it would strengthen and turn into a severe depression in the next 24 hours.
