Shocking: AP High Court Orders To Book Criminal Case And Contempt Of Court Filed Against IAS!
The Mission Build AP project took a shocking turn after the Andhra Pradesh High Court surprised everyone by directing the concerned officers to register a criminal case against a senior IAS officer.
The High Court gave the sensational orders while hearing a rescual petition filed by the senior IAS officer, in which he requested the Justice to rescue himself from hearing the case.
The constitutional bench led by Justice Rakesh Kumar which herald the petition quashed the plea and directed the Registrar General to file a criminal case against the IAS officer.
While quashing the petition, the High Court said the IAS officer has failed to prove the charges he made against the Justice in his affidavit, In the affidavit, the IAS officer opined that the judge made biased statements against the government and if he continues in the post, fair hearing could not be deprived.
The bench expressed its Disappointment after the senior IAS officer, who also heads the Mission Build AP project failed to submit the proper evidence to prove the Judge made biased comments.
On top of that, the High Court has also directed the chief judicial magistrate to file a case of contempt of court against the senior IAS officer Praveen Kumar.
Looking at the affidavit filed by the senior IAS officer, on the 16th of this month, he said Justice Rakesh Kumar made biased statements against the government during a case hearing.
Justice Rakesh Kumar termed the affidavit as false and said, the Mission Build AP project head has made false allegations against him and he never made such biased comments.
