TDP leader and Union Minister Sujana Chowdary is in trouble again. High Court served legal notices to Union Minister on Friday. He was served with notices for Contempt of Court over payment of Maritius Commercial Bank arrears.

Few months back Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd has approached the Hyderabad High Court alleging that one of Sujana's company defaulted on the Rs 92 crore loan it availed through its subsidiary.

The bank said in its petition that the outstanding dues from the minister's firm, including interest and other charges, have shot up to Rs 106 crore. The bank submitted that the company had stood as guarantor for the loan which had been availed by Mauritius-based Hestia Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of the Sujana's company.

On the request of Sujana's counsel, the judge gave a week's time to the company to settle the matter with the bank. Now the  notices were served for not following the instructions of the court given to his companies in the past.

High court on Friday served notices to the Sujana Chowdary as no response to the notices already passed in the past regarding payment of loan.
