New Year Celebrations: High Court Says No To Loud Music!

Update: 2022-12-30 11:20 GMT
New Year celebrations are incomplete with pubs and loud music after time crosses midnight on the night of December 31st. But the same will not be the case in Hyderabad as the High Court of Telangana gave orders saying the same. Hearing a petition the High Court made these comments.

It is known that earlier the Telangana High Court said loud music cannot be played in pubs after 10 PM as the locals will be disturbed. A few pub organisers knocked on the doors of the High Court challenging the verdict.

Media reports said that the High Court reportedly made it clear that loud music should not be played in pubs after 10 PM and the new year celebrations should be held as per the previous orders and restrictions.

A few months back the High Court said that playing loud music in late hours will cause severe disturbance and loud music cannot be played between 10 PM to 6 AM. Now the court reportedly said the same and made it clear that the rules should be followed.

On the other hand, the Police department issued a few directives to pubs and other establishments. The Police said that the establishments should seek permission if they want to play loud music. Security measures should also be followed as a  safety measure.

CCTVs should be set up at pubs and other places so that the security of the place won't go out of hand. All the establishments were asked to follow the directives. Now the High Court said no to loud music at pubs.
