In a much shocker to the AP government, the High Court became furious on the government for trying to shift the vigilance office to Kurnool. The High Court asked the government how come they are shifting the offices to Kunool while the case is still pending in the court.
The advocate general said that the office is being shifted to Kurnool only for the ease of governance and requested the High Court to grant some time to counter file to which the high court declined.
Earlier the High Court has issued a stay order on the capital shifting till February 26. The case filed by the farmers of the Amaravati region opposing the G.O No 13 will be heard tomorrow.
AP Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy has earlier directed the concerned officials to oversee the process of shifting the capital and to search for an appropriate building to hold the office.
