High Court to work 15 Minutes more for Abdul Kalam

In honour of Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam, The Madras High Court will be working 15 minutes more per day starting from Tuesday to till the end of the week (Friday).

During the condolence meet of Abdul Kalam, High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul announced that the court will function till 5 pm. He told Kalam who was born as a Muslim, grew up with Hindus and breathed his last at a Christian hospital.

Justice Kaul said Abdul Kalam always appeared as a happy man whenever he sees joy in people's faces. He added, Kalam had time for students and penning Books inspite of his hectic schedule.

APJ Abdul Kalam died on July 27th in Shillong while he was addressing the students of IIM. His last rites were performed with state honours at his home town Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.
