As many as 72 percent of American-Muslims were likely to vote for Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton. Whereas, Only 4 percent of the Muslim population in America preferred Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump after he gave a call to impose a ban on the entry of minorities in US.
According to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), There are around 3.3 million American-Muslims (1 percent of US Population) as per 2016 census. While 86 percent of registered Muslim voters are willing to vote in upcoming November 8th presidential poll, 12 percent of Muslim voters are yet to decide.
The Muslim Voters were concerned about Terrorism and National Security. While 61 percent opined Democratic Party is friendly towards Muslims, About 62 percent Republican Party was unfriendly towards the Minorities. About 91 percent state Trump's call for ban on Muslims wrong.
