In what it could be a shocker, a person who hails from Hindupur lost his life to the novel coronavirus taking the toll of the COVID-19 deaths in the state to two.
Going into details, 55-year-old Mustak Khan of Hindupur breathed his last breath undergoing treatment during the early hours of Saturday. On the other hand, the positive cases in the state have reached 164 so far.
Out of the 164 cases, four people who have successfully recovered from the deadly COVID-19 virus have been discharged from the general hospital and advised to be in quarantine for not less than 14 days.
Fearing the spread of the deadly virus, the medical officers have examined the people who have attended the Jammat congregation in national capital Delhi. All the 16 people who went there were examined and no one was tested positive for the virus.
Talking about another positive case in Hindupur, a woman was tested positive and as a result, 19 people who were believed to be in contact with the lady were sent for examination and the reports are awaited.
