Hiring in Hyderabad goes up in October

Despite the uncertainty prevailing in the State due to agitations, Hyderabad emerged as the second most favoured city for the young engineers looking for their first job in the country.

This was revealed in a survey by famous job portal naukri.com, an employability measurement and recruitment firm that conducted this survey to understand the dynamic preferences of engineers.

According to job portal Naukri.com Job Speak Index — which tracks monthly hiring activities online — recruitments in the hyderabad  were up by 6 per cent in October compared to September.IT capital of the country, Bangalore witnessed the highest increase of 7%, the index stated.

Commenting on the trend, Ambarish Raghuvanshi, Group President Finance and CFO Info Edge  “IT and Phrama showing good improvrmrnt in job opportunities .The current economic situation has started showing signs of recovery and this sentiment is getting echoed in the hiring pattern of the companies. Our index has gone up thereby presaging better time ahead..

Compare to last year IT enabled services and Pharma services shows 43 % and 20% growth respectivelyConstruction and engineering have shown a decline of 7% and 6% in October 2013 as compared to September 2013. A year on year comparison shows a downward trend in the auto sector with the index showing a decline of 19%, according to the report.
