His Rage Kept Three Families Into Grief

The horrific murder of Mandal Revenue Officer ( MRO) put the whole state in shock. A woman Tahasildar Vijaya Reddy was allegedly burnt inside her chamber in Abdullapurmet area on the city outskirts on Monday over a land dispute.

The reason behind this was finally investigated by the police. It is 412 acres of land dispute and Suresh from Abdullapurmet area met Vijaya Reddy to solve the problem, from the past two years there was no action taken on this case.

In fact, these lands were owned by a Jamindar. He went to Maharastra along with his family. From that time some people took the land and started cultivating. A sudden increase in the land value in the area led to court cases. About 130 acres of land is being sued by others. Suresh argues that 2 acres of land were his inherent property and in this case, Suresh met Vijaya Reddy many times to solve the problem. Suresh kept grudge on Vijaya Reddy on his land matter and attacked her.

Suresh entered the chamber of Ms. Vijaya Reddy around 1 pm and poured petrol on her. Crying for help, Tahasildar collapsed outside her chamber in flames. Office staff, who came to rescue her seeing the flames, but went in vain. She died on the spot while the other two office staff suffered burn injuries.
