The novel coronavirus has started spreading its wings in the United States as Hollywood couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have tested positive for the deadly COVID-19.
To confirm the same the Hollywood superstar tok to Twitter and tweeted the same."Hey folks Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive," read his Tweet.
Talking about their condition the Superstar said that the medical team has following up on the situation and they were given proper guidance on how to take safery measures to fight the virus.
"The medical officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks will be tested, observed and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires," Hanks maintained.
The virus which was originated at the Wuhan province of China has resulted in deaths of more than 4,200 lives and over 117,330 people were infected across 107 countries other than the Dragon country. The World Health Organisation(WHO) has termed the outbreak as a pandemic.
