Update: 2020-04-10 12:37 GMT
Following the rise of the positive cases in India 21-day nationwide lockdown was imposed and those who come out of the roads are being sent back to their homes by the cops.

In a rather shocking incident, Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai was stopped by the cops who went for rounds to check whether people are following the lockdown properly or not. He visited Bengaluru city and the village areas around Bengaluru.

The problem started when he entered Attibele which is the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border and stopped by the Tamil Nadu police. As they couldn't recognize him a tense situation arose there.

The situation came under control with Bengaluru city commissioner and Bengaluru rural SP going there and telling the cops that he is the Home Minister of Karnataka.

The confusion started as the Home Minister went in a private vehicle that too without his gunman and PA. On top of that, he went in casual wear wearing a T-shirt making the police find that he is a Home Minister.
