The second wave of Coronavirus, which had hit Bollywood very hard had now targeted cricketers. Hours after Cricketer icon Sachin Tendulkar tested Corona positive, former India player Yusuf Pathan had come in contact with the virus.
The former cricketer took to the microblogging site Twitter to announce the news of him getting infected with the ongoing pandemic. In the tweet, Pathan said after he tested positive for Covid, he quarantined himself at home.
'I've tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. Post the confirmation, I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions and medication required. I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest,' Yusuf Pathan tweeted.
Yusuf Pathan played with Sachin Tendulkar in the Road Safety Series. Sachin Tendulkar led India legends lifted the trophy. The final match was played between India and Sri Lanka on March 21st.
Following the two players coming in contact with the virus, the other players who were part of the India legends team are also expected to take the Covid-19 test as a safety measure.
