How Jana Reddy Saved Gutta Sukhender Reddy From Embarrassment?

Update: 2019-10-04 05:40 GMT
Whole of Thursday, Legislative council chairperson Gutta Sukhender Reddy was on tenter-hocks. The Congress Party could lay its hands on a phone conversation Gutta had with Congress ZPTC Motilal. In the audio, Gutta was heard urging Motilal to join the Congress. Gutta told him that he would become a minister soon as KCR would remove Jagadish Reddy from the ministry.  This was a master catch for the Congress. So, Uttam Kumar Reddy, who is currently fighting the biggest political battle in Huzurnagar, wanted to lodge a complaint with the Governor and address the press. He wanted to produce the audio before the Governor.

More importantly, Gutta was actively campaigning against Uttam Reddy's wife Padmavathi, who is contesting from Huzurnagar as a Congress candidate. So, cornering Gutta was to Uttam Reddy's advantage.

But, as he was rushing to Hyderabad from Huzurnagar, suddenly his phone rang. It was Jana Reddy on the other side Jana reportedly asked Uttam not to go public with the audio as Gutta may lose his post. He said Gutta's political career would be doomed as governor might take action against him. It was only after Jana's insistence that Uttam abandoned the idea of lodging a complaint.

Thus Gutta was saved the blushes. He is thanking Jana Reddy for his large-heartednesss. Gutta, originally a TDP man, had joined the Congress Party and became an MP. Later, he joined the TRS and has been made chairperson of the legislative council.
