High Court says NO to Gali's London Tour

Update: 2017-11-03 13:19 GMT
Hyderabad High Court turned down the plea moved by Gali Janardhan Reddy seeking permission to tour London for attending his Daughter's Wedding Anniversary.

Earlier, CBI Court rejected the petition filed by Gali seeking release of his passport and granting permission for his London trip. Then, The Mining Baron approached High Court but wasn't able to get a favorable order.

Counsel for CBI objected the plea sought by Gali Janardhan Reddy saying it would become difficult to bring him back if he disappears in London or refuses to return from the foreign nation. Justice M Satyanarayana Murthy favoured the CBI after hearing the arguments of petitioner and investigative agency.

Cases filed by CBI and ED against Gali over Obulapuram Mining Scam and bribing of the Judge to obtain bail have been currently heard in the Trial Court. Just days after Demonetisation was launched last year, Gali successfully organized the big fat wedding of his Daughter. BJP faced criticism for the lavish wedding when the whole country faced cash crunch.
