Hyd Police Commissioner Warns About A Group Working To Create Communal Issues
When the political parties are gearing up for the much anticipated Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) elections, the Hyderabad top cop said some evil minds are working to create communal violence.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, who addressed the media ahead of the civic body polls maintained that a group is aiming to create communal issues in the city.
Adding further, the top said the group tries to create communal issues through social media. He urged the public to not believe such fake news and rumors and asked the public to inform them if they come across such hatred message.
The Hyderabad Police Commissioner took to microblogging site Twitter and urged the public to not let the communal violence take place in the city.
For a better understanding of the topic, the top cop shared videos in Telugu and Urdu. He appealed to the public to expose the evil minds who are trying to create communal issues.
"Expose the communal minds trying to disturb the city during these important times of election. They are using social media to spread fake news. Let us join hands to keep city safe and happy," his tweet read.
"Hyd city is in election mode. All leaders are working hard to win the hearts and votes of community. Election is the temple of democracy. But during such times there are some evil minds who are working to create communal issues though social media. Don not believe them. Inform us," he tweeted.
It has to be noted that, Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao alerted the city cops about possible communal violence and directed them to teach the evil minds a lesson.
