I am not a Chief Minister: Pawan Kalyan

AP Minister Kamineni Srinivas and Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu on Saturday met Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan at Ramanaidu Studios to offer him invitation for new capital Amaravati foundation ceremony.

When quizzed if he would make it to the ceremony, Pawan Kalyan explained: "I wish to attend AP Capital foundation ceremony but not sure whether it will happen or not as I will be shooting for 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' in Gujarat then. I will take a call depending on the situation at that point of time".

When a journalist asked if he had offered any advices to AP Government regarding the new capital, Pawan maintained he don't have that much experience to show the path to Chandrababu Naidu. He, however, opined Amaravati should be unlike Hyderabad and a capital which is useful for people from all walks of life.

To a question 'why Chandrababu didn't personally invite him for the foundation ceremony', The Actor-turned-Politician downplayed the development saying such practice is against the protocol and he isn't a CM to expect Chief Minister to invite him personally.

Meanwhile, Minister Kamineni made it clear TDP Government needs the support/blessings of Pawan Kalyan and his presence at the ceremony means a lot. The Two Ministers assures that Chandrababu will speak to Jana Sena Chief over phone to invite him for the foundation ceremony.
