I am not against Division: CM Kiran

Update: 2013-11-10 04:17 GMT
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy made it clear he isn't against the division of AP but only worried about the problems people have to face post the division. Claiming that he had never insulted the Telangana sentiment and in fact respected it, Kiran said T-people will suffer more than Seemandhra post bifurcation and hence there is no change in his stand.

Kiran pointed out that no two states in the country have a 300 km long river as border. In case of division, water has to be divided along this distance as Irrigation Projects will be shares by the two new states. "If floods of magnitude that came in 2009 repeat, loss could be beyond our expectations if the bifurcation happens, he commented.

The chief minister reiterated staying united will be beneficial for both Seemandhra and Telangana. In case of division, several issues like Article 371D, Education, Employees, People residing in Hyderabad and many more will crop up.
