Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal who is a strong advocate of Samaikyandhra kept his promise of taking Political Sanyas soon after the T-Bill was passed in Lok Sabha Today.
Lagadapati: "I tried my best. I sent my resignation as I feel I am misfit for Indian Politics. The first linguistic state in Independent India being divided on emotional sentiment and similar demands will be arriving in future from several other states. This will weaken federal setup and country also. Hopefully, this willn't happen to any of the other states. I really feel we are first Indians, then Telugu People. It's the duty of all the politicians to heal all the wounds and scars."
With a leader like Lagadapati himself accepting the bifurcation of state, Telanganites will be relieved very much and they could celebrate this moment in a much more bigger way.
