An IBM Employee was found murdered in her apartment in Kadugodi of Bengaluru on Tuesday night.
Kusum Rani Singla is a native of Punjab and she shifted her base to Bengaluru six months ago. The 31-Year-Old divorced her husband and moved to Bengaluru following a transfer from IBM's Noida office.
Police suspect the victim might have been attacked with a sharp object and strangled to death using a wire based on circumstantial evidence. The murder could have happened in the afternoon as her flat-mate Nidhi found her in a pool of blood at 7.30 pm.
Cops were in search of the man who came to Kusum's flat on the day of murder. CCTV Footage wasn't clear but police were trying to trace the accused based on the details in Apartment register. No weapons were found at the crime spot.
