If PM Modi Takes First Covid Vaccine, People will Get Confidence: Congress MLA!

Update: 2021-01-04 11:42 GMT
Keeping an end to long waiting, India got two vaccines approved for emergency use in the country after the Drugs Controller General of India(DCGI) gave its nod for vaccines manufactured by two Indian pharma companies.

Instead of being happy with the good news about vaccine approval, the opposition parties started seeing the potential vaccine from a political angle and politicizing the vaccine distribution.

After Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav termed the vaccine as Bjp's vaccine and he will not take the vaccine, an MLA from Bihar came up with a shocking demand.

Bihar Congress leader and MLA Ajit Sharma has now triggered another controversy as he urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the first vaccine shot to infuse confidence in the people of the country.

Congress leader and MLA from Bihar Ajit Sharma kick-started another controversy by requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the first vaccine dose, and set an example like Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Joe Biden.

Adding further, the Congress Legislator even asked the senior leaders of the BJP to take the vaccine doses along with Narendra Modi so that the public gain confidence in taking the vaccine.

The MLA found fault with the way the BJP is taking the credit for the vaccine approval. He said, the two pharma firms Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech were set up during the ruling of Congress and the party should also be given the due credit.
