Pak Election: Ex-Cricketer To Be Next PM!

Former Cricketer Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf emerged as the single largest party in the Pakistan Elections. 137 Seats is the magic figure required to form the Government. Imran Khan's PTI managed to get 119 seats. While former PM Nawaz Sharif's PML-N received 61 seats, PPP settled with 40 seats. Election Commission is yet to announce the final results.

Surprisingly, Imran Khan contested in as many as five seats and emerged victorious from all of them. Nawaz Sharif's Brother has been running PML-N ever since the former PM was jailed for corruption. Former PM Benazir Bhutto's Son Bilawal Bhutto is the PM Candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Actually, There are 342 seats in Pakistan. While 60 seats were allotted for Women, 10 Seats have been given for Minorities. Election won't be conducted for these 70 seats. In the remaining 272 seats, At least 137 seats need to be won for forming the government. 3,570 Candidates are in fray for this election. Imran Khan seems to be the front-runner to be the next Prime Minister. With which party he would form alliance to form the government?

The Party which is able to garner the support of Army managed to win the election in Pakistan once again. In this election, Pak Army backed Imran Khan's PTI.
