Modi Not Invited For Imran Khan Swearing-In

The debate about Pakistan Prime Minister-designate Imran Khan extending invitation to his Indian Counterpart for his swearing-in ceremony has come to an end. An official statement has been issued by Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf that no foreign leaders will be invited for the oath-taking ceremony. An indication was given that only few personalities who are close to the former Cricketer were invited.

Until recently, There is buzz that Imran Khan is contemplating on inviting the leaders of SAARC Nations for the oath-taking. He, however, decided not to do so after holding consultations with the foreign ministry.

From India, Former Cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan have been invited by Imran Khan. Sidhu had already informed it's an honour to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Pak PM.

Imran Khan will be swearing-in as Pak Prime Minister on August 11th. He opted against a fancy ceremony and decided to keep it simple
