Income Tax Department serves notices to AAP

The Income Tax Department Today served notices to Aam Admi Party in connection with the allegations of hawala transactions.

Few days ago, AAP Rebels Group 'AVAM' made allegations on Arvind Kejriwal-led Party that it was indulging in money laundering in the name of election funding. To strengthen their claims, They pointed out transactions on AAP's Website show 4 Companies (Goldmine Buildcom Pvt Ltd, Infolance Software Solutions Ltd, Sunvision Agencies, Skyline Metal and Alloy Pvt Ltd) making donations to the tune of Rs 50 lakhs each at same time on the same date last year.

However, AAP condemned the allegations stating they wouldn't have uploaded these details of transactions on its website had if they aren't legitimate.

Income Tax Department issued notices to AAP just a day after it registered historic victory in Delhi Assembly polls based on the allegations of AVAM.
