Increase in polling percentage: TDP cadre in full joy!!

Roaring response was observed for elections in Seemandhra and for the first time the polling expected to reach 90 percent. Unlike earlier this time People on keen on voting and the same was observed at polling booths.

Till now 40 per cent voter turnout was recorded according to EC officials and it may end with 85 percent.The highest was in Kurnool district at 41 per cent and the lowest in krishna at 19% per cent. Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lalsaid they are Expecting 85 to 90% polling by evening. Most of these voters are software engineers, other IT employees and well educated youths.

The overwhelming response from Voters made TDP leadership very happy as they pinned hopes on votes from educated people and youth. Many surveys already  stated that increase  in poll percentage will increase the wining chances of TDP in the region.Earlier in 2009, the poll percentage in Seemandhra is around 70%, and an increase of around 15% will surely change the fate of many parties.

Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) has become a big headache for the voters this time as well. In most of the places, EVM's aren't working fine and in some places, to whichever party people are voting, the vote is going to a single party. Election commissioner is supervising all the areas and he is receiving the updates from time to time.
