India's Tour Of Australia: India All-Out For Lowest Ever Score

Update: 2020-12-19 12:19 GMT
The Indian team led by skipper Virat Kohli suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Australian team as the Indian team was skittled for 36, the lowest score for India.

India, which came to bat with a leading of 62 runs with nine wickets in hand, failed to take forward the lead. With the top-notch performance of the Australian bowlers, India lost 6 wickets for just 15 runs.

Virat Kohli too went early after scoring just 4 runs. The Indian innings came to an end, after the last player Mohammed Shami was retired hurt.

At one point, India seemed to break the record of the lowest-ever score in Test cricket held by blackcaps New Zealand. Blackcaps were skittled for 26 by England back in 1955.

The Indian team has one more issue to worry about. Virat will fly back to India to meet his wife and will be missing the remaining two tests. Virat and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting their first child.

Speaking at the press conference after the match, Virat Kohli said, even in his absence India will bounce against and come back strongly.
