India Wins Under-19 World Cup

India emerged as the champions of Under-19 World Cup. In the final held Today, Men-in-Blue has beaten Australia by eight wickets.

Batting first, Australia were all-out for 216 runs. By the end of 40 Overs, They were at 183 for 4 and aiming for 250-plus. Then, Indian Spinners took wickets in bunches to restrict the Opponent to a low total. Australia scored just 33 runs and lost six wickets from 41 to 47.2 overs.

At no point did India looked it's gonna lose the match while batting. A marvelous century by Manjot Kalra fetched the victory to India with 11.1 overs to spare. The Top Order Batsman remained unbeaten on 101. He was supported well by Harvik Desai who scored 47 runs.

India became Under-19 World Cup champions for the fourth times so far. Mohammad Kaif (2002), Virat Kohli (2008) and Unmukt Chand (2012) led teams to Under-19 World Cup title. Prithvi Shaw, who is the skipper of the present Under-19 Team, is being seen as a next big thing in Indian cricket. He was bought in IPL Auction for a fancy price.
