Why Kohli Can't Vote In 2019 Elections?

Update: 2019-04-28 10:11 GMT
Indian Skipper Virat Kohli willn't be able to exercise his right to vote in the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. This is happening only because of his negligence.

Election Commission set March 30th as the last day to apply for Voter Card. Virat Kohli, however, moved the online application only after the deadline. He wished to vote at Worli in Mumbai along with his Wife Anushka Sharma.

An Election Commission Official informed, 'We received Kohli's application and kept it on pending due to the late arrival. He won't be able to vote in 2019 Polls. The application moved by him will be cleared before next elections'.

On March 13th, PM Narendra Modi asked Dhoni, Kohli and Rohit Sharma to set new record of high voter turnout in the upcoming election. So, The Indian Captain is very particular about voting in this election. His Team made repeated appeals but EC maintained it has to follow the rules.
