India jumped by 30 Positions to obtain 100th Rank among 190 Countries in the World when it comes to Ease of Doing Business. World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Report 2017 released Today evening confirmed the significant growth achieved by the tri-color nation.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley held a press conference to claim credit for improvement in Ease of Doing Business. 'In the past few years, India was ranked around 130-140 in the list. It's 142 in 2014 and 130 in 2016. This year, We jumped 30 placesâ¦this is highest any country managed to do in Ease of Doing Business,' he announced proudly.
Mr.Jaitley mentioned World Bank's statement - 'India is one country that's undertaking structural reforms'.
The Union Minister points out India showed remarkable growth in Taxation as well. 'While we are at 172nd Spot among 189 Nations last year, This year we have jumped by 53 Positions'.
Even in resolving Insolvency, India improved by 33 positions to attain 103rd Rank.
