Breaking: DGCA Suspends International Flights Till July 31st

In a quick turn of events, the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, the ban on all the international commercial flights will be extended till the 31st of July. However, Vande Bharat Mission to bring back stranded Indians abroad will continue as usual.

The DGCA issued a circular in this regard with a partial modification of circular. As per the earlier schedule, the ban on international commercial flights was confined to only the 15th of July.

However, the aviation regulator said, some international flights might be allowed that too on the grounds of "case to case". This option will be applicable for some handpicked routes only.

Earlier, the Centre suspended the operations of regular train services till the 12th of August, as the ongoing pandemic is spreading its deadly wings across the nation.
