India's Sand Santa Claus creates World Record

Renowned India sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created World Record by creating the largest sand sculpture.

Few days ago, Sudarsan Pattnaik & his Team comprising 20 students of his Institute made the sand sculpture of Santa Claus to mark Christmas this year at the Puri beach. They took 22 hours to create the 45-foot-tall Santa Claus. The sculpture will be kept on display till January 1st, 2016.

Limca Book of Records has recognized Sudarsan Pattnaik's creation as the World's largest sand sculpture. He informed that Limca Books senior editor Arthy Muthanna Singh contacted him to inform about the certification.

Earlier, Sudarsan Pattnaik created sculptures of Jesus and Mother Mary.
