No Ind-Pak Series until Terrorism ends

Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel made it clear on Monday that there willn't be any bilateral series between India & Pakistan until the neighboring nation encourages Terrorism. 'Sports & Terrorism can't go hand-in-hand. There can't be sports relations where there is terrorism. BCCI need to hold consultations with Centre before discussing any proposals with Pakistan,' he told.

Vijay Goel, however, clarifies Indian Government willn't interfere in ICC Tourneys such as World Cup or Champions Trophy. He made this comment in view of the upcoming Champions Trophy match between India & Pakistan on June 4th this year.

BCCI Secretary Amithabh Chaudhry & CoA Members appointed by SC will meet PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan in Dubai Today. Earlier, PCB demanded BCCI to pay a compensation of $60 million for failing to honour the MoU signed by it. As per the MoU signed in 2014, India-Pakistan will have to play six bilateral series and four out of them will be hosted by Pakistan.
