India's Squad for Tests against England

Indian Selection Committee chaired by MSK Prasad have announced 15-member squad for upcoming Test Series against England.

Rohit Sharma who suffered an thigh injury during 5th ODI against New Zealand wasn't included in the Test Squad. Even Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul and Bhuvneshwar Kumar haven't found a place due to fitness issues.

Gautam Gambhir retained his spot as Opener after scoring a half-century in Indore Test match against New Zealand. Murali Vijay will be the other opener. Chesteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane are placed in the middle order. Wriddhiman Saha is going to be Wicket-Keeper. Karun Nair is being chosen as a reserve batsman.

Ravichandran Ashwin, Amit Mishra, Ravindra Jadeja and Jayant Yadav are the four spinners in the squad.

Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav will be pacers.  

All-rounder Hardik Pandya is the only new face in the 15-member Indian squad.
