India had registered another thrilling win in the third T20 against the West Indies team. In the last match of the series, Indian batsmen had produced some fireworks and put a good score on the board. Losing early wickets did not stop India from scoring 184 for the loss of five wickets.

The whitewash helped India reach the top position in T20 after a long time.

Making the series win even more memorable, India also broke another massive record one and a half decades later. In the last five overs of Indian innings, Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer added 86 runs, which is the best for India. 80 was the best for India in the last 5 overs in T20. India bagged 80 runs back in 2007 against England.

Thanks to the heroics of two batsmen, India managed to add a good score to the board. They spared no bowler and attacked them on every possible occasion. In the end, India posted a good score and defended it.

While defending the fighting total, Speedster Harshal Patel led the Indian bowling attack and claimed three wickets. He was supported by Deepak Chahar, Venkatesh Iyer, and Shardul Thakur who claimed two wickets each.
