The reports of the first coronavirus patient who was admitted to a hospital in Kerela recently revealed that she is recovering.
On January 30 the Kerela government said that test results of the medical reports of the student were positive coronavirus. Interestingly the fifth sample of the patient resulted in negative.
The latest sample which was sent for the examination will be out on February 8th and if the result is negative the patient will be sent home from the hospital.
"Till now, 330 samples have been sent for testing to the National Institute of Virology in Pune, of which 288 turned out to be negative. We are waiting for the rest of the results," Health Minister K.K. Shailaja said.
Those who come from the affected areas will still have to report to health officials and remain home quarantined," Shailaja added.
