In the wake of the new law introduced by US Donald Trump limiting H1-B Visas, Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy commented this is the time for Indian companies to become a truly multi-cultural. 'Stop using H1-B Visas..put an end to the trend of sending large number of Indians to other countries to deliver services. Instead, Recruit Americans, Canadian and Britishers. That's the only way to emerge as a true Multi-National Company,' he told.

Narayana Murthy suggested Indian IT Firms to see executive order of Donald Trump tightening H1-B Visa norms as an opportunity to make Indian Firms more multi-cultural rather than crying foul.

Top 5 Indians IT Companies lost around Rs 50,000 crore in a day after new law on H1-B Visa was tabled in US Congress. Mr.Murthy explains such situation has arised because of the Indian mindset (take the easy option) as becoming multi-cultural is a herculean task. He asks Managers of the IT Firms to minimize the risk of executive order by taking appropriate measures.

US Companies hire skilled foreign workers through H1-B Visa. The minimum wage limit of H-1B Visa holder used to be $60,000 but it has been hiked to $1,30,000 with the introduction of new law. So, US Firms find it very difficult to hire foreigners from now onwards.
