Indian Students elated, as the US administration changes its rules on vaccine preferences!

Update: 2021-06-15 11:25 GMT
As a big relief to the Indian students who are heading to the United States for academic purposes, the Joe Biden administration announced that the restrictions of Indian vaccines were lifted.

As per the media reports, the US administration said, Indians administered with Covaxin, India's indigenous COVID-19 vaccine developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech will be allowed to enter the nation.

It has to be noted that, earlier this month, the universities and colleges in the United States said that Indian students, who received vaccines that were not approved by WHo should have to get re-vaccinated with approved vaccines after reaching America.

The US administration has earlier said that the revaccination decision was taken to see that the virus won't spread further from the students reaching the country from the foreign countries for studies.

With the US administration changing its decision on the vaccination, the Indian students are expressing their happiness. The new development has left the students from other countries too elated.

It has to be noted that the Covaxin vaccine didn't receive approval from the WHO. As a result, several countries are vaccinating people with approved vaccines, who were administered with Covaxin.
