Indian Women's Team enters ICC World Cup Final

Indian Women's Team defeated Title Favourites Australia in the Semi Final to enter ICC ODI World Cup 2017 final.

Batting First, Team India posted a total of 281 at the loss of 4 wickets from 42 Overs. Harmanpreet Kaur's blistering 171 runs of 115 balls helped India put a challenging total for the defending champions to chase.

India picked up 3 early wickets to trouble Australia.  But, It's Elyse Villani and Alex Blackwell who ensured their team stayed in the hunt till the end. Particularly, The fearless knock of Alex Blackwell (90 runs) after the team lost 9 wickets for 169 will be remembered for a long time. Finally, Australia were bowled out for 245.

This is the second time India entered ICC Women's World Cup final and first side 2005. Men-in-Blue will face England in the final. BCCI decided to announce a reward to the Women's Cricket Team for its exceptional performance in the World Cup.
