Indian Workers To Benefit From US Visa Appointments!

Update: 2022-10-17 07:57 GMT
In what could be a big move to bring down the waiting period for US visas and processing time, the US Mission to India has released over 1,00,000 appointments for various visas. The body announced the same on social media. The massive appointments would bring a smile to the faces of job aspirants in the land of opportunities.

The appointments which were released are for H&L workers and their families. H category of visas are visas that are granted to skillful foreign workers to work with foreign companies. Coming to the L category of visas, they are intracompany transferees that are used to transfer employees who hold positions like a manager, executive, and others.

While the two categories of visas are for foreign workers, the Indian workers or employees are going to be benefited largely and this is a piece of good news for the aspirants.

The new development is likely to slash the waiting period for the visas as thousands of aspirants reportedly booked their appointments with the companies. The chances of the majority of applications getting confirmed are very high.

The alleged demand for employment in the United States needs to be mentioned here as the main reason behind this. Seeing the demand, the US Mission to India released the applications. The US Embassy in India said the same in the tweet.

Due to various reasons, it is believed that many job holders are on a spree of resigning from their positions resulting in large vacancies for various positions in companies and other sectors. The rise in the employment need made the US Mission release the appointments.

No matter what the reasons are, the visa appointments were increased which will benefit the Indian aspirants and this is a piece of good news to hear about.

"In response to high demand for employment-based visas, the US Mission to India recently released over 100,000 appointments for H&L workers and their families. Thousands of applicants have already booked their appointments and the wait time for both interview waiver and first-time appointments has been cut in half throughout Mission India. This bulk appointment opening reflects our ongoing commitment to H&L workers," the US Embassy in India said talking about the appointments.
