IndiGo Staff Manhandles Passenger

In the recent past IndiGo Airlines is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recently, Badminton champion PV Sindhu complained about the rude behaviour of the Ground Staff. The issue garnered nationwide attention and the Airlines received severe criticism.

And now, Ground Staff of IndiGo Airlines has physically assaulted a Passenger at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi. Katiyal who travelled by flight 6E-487 had an argument with the Ground Staff of IndiGo over an issue. Subsequently, The Staff manhandled the passenger.

Katiyal explains: 'When I was standing under the shade of the Plane while waiting for the bus, A Member of the Ground Staff yelled at Me and asked Me to move away. Then, I asked him why don't he arrange bus for us instead of yelling. Then, The Airlines Employee replied - Don't teach us our Job. IndiGo Staff pushed Katiyal and didn't allow him to enter the bus. When he staged a protest, They manhandled and dragged him'.

In the 81-seconds video, An IndiGo Employee was caught saying to fellow staff member: 'Stop him, Let's teach him a lesson'.

IndiGo Airlines issued an apology to the Passenger 23 days after the incident happened. An assurance was given that action was taken against the ground staff involved in the incident.
