IPL 8 Fixing: Player complaint to BCCI

Fixing scandal in IPL 8 once again surfaced.Most affected Rajasthan Royals seems to be still a target of bookies.Just a  day before Rajasthan Royals plays its first match in this IPL, reports  has emerged that one of its players informed the BCCI’s anti-corruption team that he had been approached by bookie.

As per sources one of bookie who is also a Ranji player approached a Rajasthan Royals player to play foul in Fridays match with Punjab XI kings.

It’s learnt that the Mumbai-based RR player didn’t accept the offer from the cricketer and informed same to BCCI. The reports of fixing in IPL 8 alerted BCCI. BCCI anti-corruption bureau is probing in the incident.

In 2013, RR player and World Cup winner S Sreesanth was banned for life by BCCI for his alleged involvement in spot-fixing IPL matches.
