Is Atchen walking in Chandrababu's footsteps?

Usually, one removes one's footware before lighting a lamp or garlanding the image of a leader. But, some TDP leaders make exceptions. For instance, Chandrababu Naidu does not normally remove his footwear even when required. Some people quip that Chandrababu removes his footwear only in the presence  of 'Rajaguruvu,' a sobriquet for Ramoji Rao.

It appears TDP working president Kinjarapu Atchen Naidu too is following the footsteps of his leader. The other day,  he did not bother to remove his footwear even while garlanding a bust of  late NTR, the founder of the TDP, of which he is today the president of the AP state unit. The day was the foundation day of the party.  On Monday, he did not remove the footwear. What made the whole thing very awkward is the fact that Tirupati Laddu and Vada prasadam, considered to be holy and pious, were left on the floor and the TDP leader was walking around with footwear on. This was considered not just inauspicious, but even a sacrilege. It is deemed deep disrespect for the holy prasadam.

This has not gone down well among the TDP workers from Tirupati. However, none tried to point this out and rectify things. The images of Atchen Naidu garlanding NTR with footwear on has now gone viral.
