Is KCR Encouraging Cross Voting?

Update: 2019-02-24 05:53 GMT
The other day, TRS Working President KT Rama Rao went all the way to the CLP Office to obtain the acceptance of Congress for the unanimous election of Secunderabad MLA T Padma Rao as Deputy Speaker.

During the interaction with KTR, CLP Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka questioned him whether TRS would offer the same cooperation to Congress during the upcoming MLC Elections. He pointed out that TRS Leadership fielded fifth candidate inspite of lacking enough strength in Assembly. 'It's nothing but an attempt to poach some of our MLAs for cross-voting. This is against the democratic practices,' said the Senior Leader.

PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy asked KTR, 'Is it fair on part of TRS to encourage cross voting? Does the Assembly Traditions apply only for TRS, not Congress'.

Inspite of the support of MIM MLAs, TRS falls short of 8 MLAs to win the fifth MLC Seat. Will KCR withdraw his decision after the strong worded reply from Congress?
