Is Statue of Unity bringing unity between these two parties?

Update: 2019-10-06 08:04 GMT
When a politician does something, it always has a deep meaning. Not just that, it could be part of a deeper plan. So, when former Prime Minister and Janata Dal Secular patriarch HD Deve Gowda visits 182-feet tall Statue of Unity in Gujarat, it definitely should be part of a big game plan. The other day, Deve Gowda went to Gujarat, visited Sardar Patel statue, took pics and released them too. Immediately Prime Minister Narendra Modi not just re-tweeted the pic but also posted a friendly comment. It is interesting that Devegowda, who has not been going anywhere, not even to Delhi, has gone all the way to Gujarat and has visited the Statue of Unity. And to top it,he made every effort to upload the pic on the social media.

The question that immediately crops up after this is that if there is a political jugalbandi between JDS and the BJP? This question is important because Karnataka is going for bypolls for 17 MLA seats and the Congress-JDU alliance has just broken up. So, will there be an alliance between the BJP and the JDS. Will JDU join the Yeddiyurappa ministry and will Kumaraswamy be made the deputy chief minister in Karnataka?

Already there is a buzz in Karnataka that JDS might go it alone in Karnataka bypolls. This means the BJP will sweep most of the seats and would be able to give stability to its government. At the same time, the JDU will extend its support to the BJP or even join it. The deal would be that the JDS chief Kumaraswamy would get the deputy CM post. So, is the Statue of Unity bringing some kind strange political unity between these two parties?
