Is the BJP planning more shockers for TRS? Minister from GHMC to join party?
Is the BJP planning to another mind-numbing shocker to the ruling TRS in Telangana? Highly placed sources say that the BJP has already netted a minister from the KCR cabinet and he would resign from the TRS soon. This also means that he would resign from the assembly seat also and force another by-election soon.
Recently, Union Minister Kishan Reddy had said that the Munugode bypolls may not be the last bypoll. This set off panic in the TRS circles and a frantic probe began to identify the âblack sheep' in the party. Adding to the TRS confusion, Rajya Sabha MP Dr K Laxman too has announced that a key TRS leader from Hyderabad was in touch with the party bosses.
Ever since the BJP managed to net Rajya Sabha MP Boora Narsiah Goud, the TRS is rattled. There are indications that some key TRS leaders from Munugode might switch sides before polling. Sources reveal that recently party affairs incharge Sunil Bansal, deputy incharge Aravind Menon and party's organizational deputy general secretary Shiv Prakash held a secret meeting at Hyderabad, where they discussed some key joinings into the party.
Sources say that the TRS was completely taken by surprise at the highly secretive operation that the BJP has unleashed in case of Boora Narsaiah Goud. The BJP top brass managed to keep everything under wraps and Goud's ditching of the party came to light only after he reached New Delhi. Meanwhile, Goud is all set to join the BJP on October 19.
